We have organized a series of workshops where students (yes you!) will be able to learn more about the essentials of case-cracking. The workshops will be conducted by Dr. Zachary Leung.
Dr. Zachary Leung has six years of experience coaching the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) case competition team. He has trained case teams to participate in international case competitions, held in Australia, Netherlands, Norway, Serbia, and the USA. In particular, the CityU team won the championship of the HSBC/HKU Asia Pacific Business Case Competition (2017) under his mentorship.

The workshops material is developed based 20 years of international consulting, educational and research activities in developing strategy and buidling problem solving, innovative thinking and team work skills needed to drive consulting business mindset. Prof. Vesna Damnjanovic is the founder of an innovative problem-solving international event: Belgrade Business International Case Competition. She has visited 48 countries and was mentor of many winning students’ teams at global case competitions.

Do you wonder what it takes to coach a team to the first place of an international case competition?
The HSBC/HKU Business Case Competition invites you to participate in a free 3-hour Train the Trainers event where you can learn all about case coaching in an interactive way. The event will be on 4 May on Zoom between 3-6 PM HKT and will be held by an experienced Case Solvers trainer. It will take the participants through the basics of the case method, case solution fundamentals and the topic of how to coach a team.

The HSBC/HKU Business Case Competition invites you to participate in a free 7-session Case Academy where you can learn all about case solving in an interactive way. The Academy will run on Mondays and Thursdays online between 18 October and 11 November 6-8 PM HKT (1 November excluded) and will be held by experienced Case Solvers trainers. It will take the participants through 7 topics and will teach the essentials of case solving, frameworks and tools needed to ace a case competition.
